After watching The Assassination of Richard Nixon we headed here for a drink, a bite to eat, and some good conversation. Unfortunately the latter was hard to find for the boys as we engaged in an ongoing game of seven degrees. I'll try and find out what the ones we played were and post them separately, but back to the review.

Brewers Fayre - Portlethen

If you have children this place is great, situated just across the bypass from Portlethen it features a pretty standard pub menu and is very child friendly, there's a good kids menu too, filled with all the bad stuff kids like!

Tijuana Yacht Club (formerly Gringo Bills) - Edinburgh

This was a bit of a disappointment for me, and I'm not sure if it is entirely the fault of the restaurant. I used to go here a lot with friends, lunchtimes and evenings, and we have had some great laughs there and some excellent food. We even had a lock in one New Year. Yet returning just didn't feel the same, it didn't have the same atmosphere for me.

Fishers (Central) - Edinburgh

I went for a nice reunion night at Fishers (the one in the town) with some friends I hadn't seen from my old work for nigh on two years. That part was wonderful, the rest? For me it did not live up to the reputation of the Fishers name.
