I love this series, without a doubt. I absolutely love sneaking games which require stealth and planning much more than any other game I think I’ve ever played. So it was with excitement I awaited the latest Splinter Cell to be released for the Xbox 360.
One concern I did have though was that the trailers showed a lot of running about in the light and shooting at people, was the sneaking element gone in favour of a first person shooter in places? Time would tell.

XBox: Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory

What can you say about this game when there's been so much written about its prequels? Not a huge amount has changed with this winning formula, but there's a lot more new additions than in the previous sequels.
When you get down to it, Splinter Cell is all about logic puzzles. There's a mapped area with multiple objects in predetermined paths moving around inside it, there are also parts of that area you deliberately need to avoid. Put all this together and what you need to do is analyse the surroundings and patterns, definte a strategy, and execute it.

XBox: Colin McRae Rally 2005

Until recently I had 2004 and found it very hard to go anywhere with it. Cracking the Championship was tough and required repeated attempts, and it turned into frustration and long sessions, something I am finding less and less time for nowadays.
So I'm glad to see that with 2005 the Championship seems somewhat easier, although I haven't progressed through the first yet, I did finish fourth on my first attempt. I have no fear that my next attempt will yield a podium.

First off, thanks to Pablo for lending me Full Spectrum Warrior to play. I haven't actually bought it yet, and if I keep tearing through it as I have been I think I'll be finished it in no time.
